| General Overview | Chief Nagamatsu may not exude a warm and fuzzy personality, he does exude a command presence that commands respect for his office as the Chief of the Boat, an excellent teacher and who demands perfection in his enlisted personnel. For he knows that there are no mistakes in a star ship in space. For one mistake can mean the life or death of an entire ships company. The Chief, like all chiefs before him, and for the past 601 years is the ships true master, and it is he who knows much more than the captain. The Captain my be assigned to his own ship; but it is the Chief who treat's her like a parent cares for a child, his child; and who knows her secrets intimately. Carries a small riding crop during all ceremonial events, but never uses it to punish the enlisted. One cockeyed look from the chief is enough to chill the blood of any Petty Officer or Enlisted crewman who decides to cross the line.... |
